COURSE DESCRIPTION:

Recent developments in restorative materials and cements continue to support practitioners’ ability to deliver aesthetic dental care. The proliferation of these therapeutic alternatives can be challenging, particularly when the clinician is treatment planning and selecting the proper techniques, ceramic systems and cements. Ivoclar Vivadent will help you find the most suitable cement for almost any clinical situation, irrespective of the substrate: tooth structure or implant abutments.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

The difference between Adhesively Bonding, Conventional Cementation and Self-Adhesive Resin Cements.

Differences in sheer bond strengths between various cementation techniques (mentioned above).

Recommended cementation techniques for: All Ceramics, Lithium Disilicate (e.max), Zirconium Oxide, PFM and All-Metal restorations.

Cementation of Veneers, Inlays, Onlays, Partial Crown, Full Coverage Crowns, Bridges and Root Posts.

Tara Doster completed her MBA at Medaille College, Buffalo, NY. She began her career at Ivoclar Vivadent in 2009 as a Marketing Manager managing permanent cements, temporary cements and impression materials. Tara is now a Senior Marketing Manager regularly lectures nationally and internationally to doctors and laboratories about product knowledge, product technique and product demonstration.
